Transformation Interview with Jessy Correa

Today’s interview tells Jessy’s story of how she survived domestic abuse, and how it led her to living for herself and her kids.

A Nicaragua native, Jessy lives for her kids as they are her inspiration!

Read her story below, about how she makes time for her goals

What motivated you to start your journey?

I was married for 20 years but got divorced due to domestic violence and I’m no longer a victim. I went from surviving to thriving! I am blessed with six kids, born from the marriage, and they’re my WHY!

What motivated my journey was that I wanted to live a healthier life and made the decision to making my body become a physical manifestation of being mentally strong so, I could overcome abuse.

How Has What Waist Helped Your Journey?

The What Waist Trainer has helped my journey since it helps keep my core and my form so much better. I’m excited to be an example of empowerment to many starting their fitness journey. That if you are mom like me, I have six kids, and guess what? I am doing the damn thing.

What advice would you give someone that’s looking to being a new fitness journey?

Prioritize yourself, love yourself, because at the end of the day, the babies are going to grow up and you need to be strong and healthy! So push past your comfort zone and get uncomfortable, that’s where the magic happens!

I get up every day at 4:10AM for a 5AM workout. I am a single mom of six and we all have that same power of transformation and it starts in a mindset reset!

So, mommas, be the game changer and make yourself a priority! Fill your bucket and you’ll love more by loving yourself first!
