A fixture in the hearts and lives of many, the Houston, Texas native began her rise as a prominent member one of the most successful music groups of all-time — Destiny’s Child. After 7 years of history-making music, LeToya  went on to release her self-titled solo-debut album, which has surpassed a million sold. And then, if that wasn’t enough, she’s gone on to conquer the television and movie screens with her acting and appearances in, Single Ladies, Killers, Friends and Family Hustle, and the Oprah Winfrey produced series, Greenleaf.

We were beyond thrilled that LeToya sat down with us to give us an inside look on the four things that she has learned about herself in the last year. Read her responses below and be sure to checkout her workout videos featuring some of her favorite What Waist products!

What are the four biggest things you have learned about yourself in the last 12 months?

  1. I am strong. I realize that NOW more than ever! As a woman, we have to wear so many hats & try our best to do it with class & grace. Sometimes, that isn’t the easiest thing to do. In the past 12 months, I’ve carried a child, giving birth & gone through a divorce...in a pandemic. If I could high 5 myself, I would.

  1. My “ME” time is SO necessary. I need time to myself to woo sah & come up for air. Meditation & prayer helps me stay centered

  1. I’ve gotta keep it moving! When I work out it gives me the energy to run after these growing babies. A simple walk in my neighborhood or doing a quick 30 min workout with Warrior lifestyle has helped me both mentally & physically

  1. I’m an over thinker & that can be a good & not so good thing. I’m learning to go with the flow, losing the reigns & leave it in God's hands.

Thank you LeToya! We are excited to see where this next year takes you!
